Please join us for the first presentation in our 2022-2023 Duke Center for Autism Speaker Series. Our speaker will be Giacomo Vivanti, PhD, associate professor at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, Drexel University, and an honorary research fellow at the Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre at La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Vivanti's research and clinical work focus on early learning and intervention for autistic children, with a focus on the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based practices in community educational settings. He is a certified therapist and trainer in the Early Start Denver Model, an evidence-based early intervention for young autistic children, and the lead author of the manuals Clinical Guide to Early Interventions for Children with Autism and Implementing the Group-Based Early Start Denver Model for Young Children with Autism.
