The Intersection of Autism and Gender Diversity

Please join us for the next presentation in our 2021-2022 Duke Center for Autism Speaker Series! Our speaker will be John Strang, PsyD, founder and director of the Gender and Autism Program at Children's National Hospital (Washington DC). The Gender and Autism Program is a multidisciplinary clinical and research initiative dedicated to the broad care and support needs of gender diverse neurodivergent youth and their families. Dr. Strang is also the Research Director for Children's National's Gender Development Program, one of the first founded pediatric gender care centers in the U.S. He is teaching faculty for the Global Education Initiative (GEI) with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), providing training on the intersection of autism and gender diversity for gender care providers globally. He is a co-author of the upcoming revision of the WPATH Standards of Care for transgender and gender-diverse youth. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. PLEASE REGISTER AT THE LINK PROVIDED.
