While healthcare is in a state of change across the country, major transformation is underway in North Carolina as it relates to the state's Medicaid program. This includes supplementing and redefining services, integrating physical and behavioral health, and shifting to a robust managed care model. These changes will impact millions of people across North Carolina, including many with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Kody Kinsley, Deputy Secretary for Behavioral Health and IDD at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, will provide insight into where things stand with Medicaid Transformation, what's on the horizon, and its impact on individuals with IDD and ASD.
