Friday January 12 12:00 - 1:30PM

More Events In:

Bryan Research Building, Durham, NC, United States

About This Event:

Please join us for a moderated panel discussion about gender and power dynamics in academia. This event will be the first in a series of discussions focused on how neuroscience trainees -- especially graduate students and postdocs -- experience gender and power dynamics in neuroscience. Everyone from the neuroscience community is welcome. We especially encourage trainees to attend.

The panel will be lightly moderated and strongly encourages questions and comments from the community. (Questions or comments may be submitted in advance using this anonymous form.) DIBS is committed to creating a safe space for all its members; we look forward to beginning this dialogue with you.

Panelists & DIBS Faculty Network Members: Professors Alison Adcock, Jennifer Groh, Katherine Heller, Lindsey Glickfeld, Gregory Samanez-Larkin
