About This Event:

Dr. Steven Prakken is Director of the Duke Medical Pain Service. He received his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in general psychiatry at the University of California-San Francisco Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute. Attendance at this Grand Rounds session will provide 1 hour of CME credit toward the NC Medical Board's new requirement for 3 hours of CME that covers "controlled substances prescribing practices, recognizing signs of the abuse or misuse of controlled substances, and controlled substance prescribing for chronic pain management."
