2016 Brain Awareness Week at Duke Draws 800 Attendees

DIBS welcomed nearly 800 guests during its eighth annual Brain Awareness Week at Duke [EDIT: Link no longer exists], March 28-April 3.

Thanks to all the attendees and volunteers who excited their neurons with us!

New events this year included a movie night, gallery talks, brain trivia, and DIBS Discovery Day.

DIBS Discovery Day invited the public to learn about major challenges of society today and how they are related to the brain, including drug addiction, brain diseases, smoking while pregnant, sports-related head injury, and how the brain perceives faces. Read more about the event.
