DIBS Announces Space Expansion

DIBS is pleased to announce that we have broken ground on a new expansion project to meet our growing needs for event, teaching and work spaces. The new location will provide more than 10,000 square feet of additional space to create a vibrant new hub for the brain science community.

It will be located beneath the Blue Express Café within the Levine Science Research Center (LSRC) on Duke’s West Campus and is anticipated to be completed in spring of 2015. Currently home to mechanical equipment no longer in service, the space is custom-designed to support DIBS interdisciplinary activities and will be accessible through a new stairway and elevator in a large glass cube integrated into the outdoor patio area of the LSRC.
