Neuroscience Majors Receive Goldwater Scholarship

Two of four Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship recipients at Duke are Neuroscience majors. The rising juniors are Kunal Shroff, a Chemistry and Neuroscience major who studies neurological disorders such as dystonia with DIBS Faculty Network Member Nicole Calakos, PhD, and Jill Jones, a Neuroscience and Linguistics double major researching pediatric brain tumors with Eric Thompson, MD, at Duke, and Josh Rubin, MD, at Washington University in St. Louis.
