Rubenstein Scholars Faculty Director Ng Helps New Students

Minna Ng draws from her own experience as a first-generation college student

Minna Ng, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of the Practice of Psychology and Neuroscience and member of the DIBS Faculty Network, was herself a first-generation college graduate. She spent part of her summer assisting incoming Duke first-generation students. She helped create and serves as Faculty Director of the David M. Rubenstein Scholars [EDIT: Link now links to the current page for this program] program, the third class of which headed home recently after spending six weeks getting acclimated to campus life.
