Welcome to the Puppy Kindergarten Class for Spring 2022

DIBS faculty member Brian Hare PhD and Evolutionary Anthropology researcher/Director of Puppy Kindergarten Vanessa Woods recently welcomed the paw-dorable Duke Puppy Kindergatern class of 2022.

The NIH-funded Puppy Kindergarten program isn't just cute, it generates helpful data, too. Every year, the research team plays games with the incoming canine class in order to suss out the hallmarks of success for future guide/assistance dogs, which the graduating class eventually becomes through Canine Companions.
