Assistant Director of Communications

Elizabeth focuses on strategic communications, storytelling and content development for the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences. Previously, she was a writer and deputy editor with Duke’s Trinity Arts & Sciences communications team, where her work often focused on faculty and student research. She also created and facilitated the Trinity Ambassadors program, a peer-to-peer communications initiative for undergraduate students. Elizabeth has an M.A. in musicology and a B.S. in biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
