The Neuroimmunology and Glia Group (NGG) at Duke explores the vital role that immune molecules play within the brain in normal processes including sleep, metabolism, learning and memory. The group also investigates how glia, astrocytes and microglia have a critical role in shaping brain development, plasticity and behavioral outcomes throughout the lifespan.
