Congratulations to DIBS faculty members Brian Hare, professor of evolutionary anthropology, and Walter Sinnott-Artmstrong, Chauncey Stillman professor of practical ethics in philosophy, along with Michael Muthukrishna of the London School of Economics, who were awarded a $1.54 million grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
The team’s project will take an interdisciplinary approach at studying the evolution of comity: why are some people amicable, whereas others opt for animosity?
